How is The Fake Park coming along?

What is that? Another grand jury investigation? A woman dies at the ice rink and her family has hit The Fake Park with a lawsuit? How many lawsuits is the park board now defending? Why have only 50 acres been completed after $200 million down the drain?

Most of the voters have buyers remorse and can see they got sold a lemon by the Agranistas. The Fake Park was simply a bait and switch to trick fearful and gullible voters to go against an already established international airport. Even Comrad Agran himself admitted that one cannot simply say no to the airport and expect to win as shown by the crushing defeat of Measure S at the polls. The airport needed to be replaced by something that can appeal to the voters. Hence, The Fake Park. Too bad it was just a ruse.

Just how many people has The Fake Park employed? How much economic stimulus does it provide Orange County? Not much. But if one asks how much gravy does it give to the Agranistas? Then the answer is quite a bit! But they are only a tiny minority of the population. The rest of us receive no benefit from this boondoggle.

Just as congress has finally wised up to stop giving perpetual unemployment benefits to the lazy loafers of America, I bet a lot of the local loafers sure wish that El Toro International Airport was open for business. Since they are now forced to get a job and to stop mooching off the rest of the productive citizens of society, the incentive to work for them has never been greater. If El Toro was re-opened, it would create over 100,000 jobs and increase local property values.

That's a great story, Vernon. Count me in as one who wishes El Toro International Airport was now open for business. It will get local loafers off the streets and off unemployment. The incentive to work has never been greater. El Toro will provide a wide spectrum of jobs, something a park can never produce.

Be happy, though, about the new 20,000 acres of pristine park land just donated to Orange County. That land is right under the take off and landing of Runway 34. So movers and shakers may be planning to open El Toro International Airport.

Who did you sue when you hit your head Donald? The brain damage is obvious to all.

Hey Donnie, I thought you had "Nothing left to say". If only it were true....................

How's that airport coming, Donald? Going to open anytime soon? I can't wait to catch a flight from there to Donnie's Delusionville, population - 1.

Count me in Vernon with the millions of people that want El Toro International Airport open. Count Lone Nimby out as one polluter of this web site.

Be happy about the new 20,000 acres of pristine parkland under Runway 34 that signals the opening of the airport.

The United States needs jobs. El Toro International Airport will give them to us. Turn on the lights, Vernon.

(Yawn) Yet another lie filled diatribe of hate and jealousy from Donnie girl. When will he say something truthful? We can only wonder.

Leave it to Lone Nimby to climb out of the sewer against the popular El Toro International Airport. Do you deny, Lone Nimby, that the 20,000 acres of new parkland at the front and back of Runway 34 is a step in the right direction toward opening El Toro Internation Airport? Your misinformation is being cut off at the knees. Turn on the lights, Vernon. We've got an airport to open.

And now Donnie does not even want the police to be able to fly.

Should South County also do away with police helicopters?

What does thou thinketh Donnie?

Daily Pilot Letters

Police enforcement should be on ground

Newport Beach should learn from Costa Mesa by cutting its budget for police helicopters known as Airborne Law Enforcement (ABLE) ("Police helicopter faces budget chopping block," July 6). These machines fly everywhere when they feel like it, buzzing, flapping, snooping, chopping the air at unregulated altitudes and unspecified times and places.

It was as if all our efforts to control John Wayne Airport were for naught, 40 years ago, when these things were foisted onto our citizens.

Of course the police departments loved them. They were sold to them (not us) to cut crime and multiply the power of patrol. I believe law enforcement should be on the ground, not whirling around in the sky, where mistakes can be made.

The great Donald Nyre knows all about quality of life. Lone Nimby seems unable to learn how great is El Toro International Airport. We need police helicopters for south county based at El Toro. The fuel will be delivered by pipelines. Turn on the lights, Vernon.

The great Donald Nyre whines and cries because the jets from The Duke fly over his shack. The great Donald Nyre whines and cries because the police fly over his shack in helicopters trying to protect his empty, pathetic life. Maybe the great Donald Nyre is better suited to living in a cave in Wyoming so he can avoid in the inconveniences in his life. Leaving would also raise the IQ average of NIMBY Beach by at least 20 points. Win-win all around.

There is no more DUUKE, dummy. Now it's Strel and we say to Hell with STREL. We're using the Great El Toro International Airport.

The Great El Toro International Airport will have aerial refueling of police helicopters circling 24/7 over Monarch Beach.

Aside from that, nobody, absolutely nobody, is in the noise zone of the Great EL TORO. Turn on the lights, Vernon. It's later than they think.
