Cox the Pox makes the Top Ten!
Chris Cox did not just screw up Orange County's economy by running interference against the twice voted for El Toro International Airport. Thanks to him Orange County air travelers must pay higher fares, or make long commutes for cheaper flights.
In place of an economic catalyst that El Toro could be is a so called Great Pork has been hijacked by Agranista Socialists. They have built very little park, but spend lots of money convincing gullible people there is a "Great Park" amongst all that tarmac and runways while the air travelers and the economy are punished in the meantime.
Chris Cox has also royally screwed up America's economy under his watch as chair of the S.E.C. The appointment of Cox to this position is probably one of the worst moves President Bush has made during his otherwise fine presidency.
Now people outside of Orange County are catching on to how much of an economic disaster Chris Cox is to everything he touches. No matter who becomes president, Cox will be FIRED!

More slanted bullshit from the idiot named Vern.
Of course it's slanted, and it should be. Is there a better way to write about him?
More intelligent rebuttals as usual from the Angry Left.
I do NOT see one word on here in defense of Chris Cox.
I could think of a couple of words in defense of Chris Cox, but I would rather point out his failings. He delayed the orderly transition of El Toro airfield to El Toro International Airport so Larry Agran could stir up hate and collect money for ETRPA, a coalition of imaginary airport victim cities which voted against El Toro International Airport. This caused the housing bubble and crash and forecast depression and bankruptcy of Lennar which bought El Toro at a government auction. At SEC he used hands off regulation to let Jimmy Carter's Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 force banks to loan to bad credit risks, as affordable housing, which democrats, Barney Frank and Chris Dodd, kept raising quota percentages on. Republicans predicted coming reinvestment bankruptcies and warned against CRA forced lending. Chris Cox just sat there and let bad loans spiral to excess until the crash. Is there anything good to say about Chris Cox? Of course John McCain will fire him as would Barack Obama too who believes in regulation, i.e. central government control just like the old poor USSR and Cuba.
Now let me get this straight, 458 is now saying that Larry Agran caused the housing bubble that collapsed our economy? Oh, that's a good one! More Kool Aid for the NIMBY's in Newport that have stirred up hatred of SNA.
El Toro International Airport could never cause an Orange County housing bubble and crash. Although Chris Cox did not approve excess housing permits, Larry Agran did and said others would approve even more, particularly affordable housing permits along the freeways and on top of the El Toro poison plume. It's time to open El Toro International Airport and put all this acrimony behnd us. Turn on the lights, Vernon.
In the world according to Donald, an airport at El Toro will cure cancer and AIDS, end world hunger, save the whales, clean the air, and have Christians, Jews and Muslims all sitting around the campfire roasting marshmallows and singing Kum By Ah. Unfortunately, there is no known cure for the NIMBY Beach El Toro Airport fantasy.
Turn out the lights Vern, reality sucks.
Yes, El Toro International Airport will stop world hunger and global warming and make Christians and Muslims love each other. Nonstop flights to Dubai, UAE are a step in the right direction. Turn on the lights, Vernon. NIMBYs need something to be for.
Thank you for that reply Donald, you are now certifiably crazy. As if there were ever any doubts before.
Turn out the lights Vern, they scare the mentally ill.
El Toro International Airport nonstop flights to Dubai, UAE, will make Christians and Muslims love each other and solve global warming and world hunger. What's wrong with that, 811? Do you want the slaughter in Darfur to continue? Turn on the lights, Vernon.
Have a nice trip Donald
They're coming to take me away, ha-haaa!!
They're coming to take me away, ho-ho, hee-hee, ha-haaa
To the funny farm. Where life is beautiful all the time and I'll be
happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats and they're
coming to take me away, ha-haaa!!!!!
1045: Don't underestimate the power of El Toro International Airport to create jobs and income of 90,000 jobs and $1.5 billion income. This will stop world hunger and global warming. The Quantas A380 is coming to town October 20. John Travolta is coming to town in his 707 as goodwill agent for Quantas. Welcome to El Toro International Airport.
Donald;
What will stop NIMBY Beach whining?
727, I thought they came and took you away. The Quantas A380 and John Travolta in his 707 will be here on Monday. Let's all welcome them to El Toro International Airport.
Have a nice drive to LAX Donald.
X marks the spot at El Toro for the A380 and 707. I hope they land here first before going up to Los Angeles. If they land at El Toro first, there's not a thing you can do about it, 941. Roll out the welcome mat, Vernon.
Keep singing your song Donald.
They're coming to take me away, ha-haaa!!

336: That sounds like a threat to me. Oh oh. Turn on the lights at El Toro, Vernon. At least the pox of Cox was not violent.
Donald;
I would never threaten the mentally ill. You certain need an deserve all the help available. El Toro has obviously pushed you over the edge.
Chris Cox would never threaten the mentally ill. He is famous for working within the system. Obfuscate, pretend, delay, increase fares, limit choices--these are the hallmarks of Chris Cox who tried to keep El Toro International Airport from opening. Even today there are brainwashed anti-El Toro International Airport people who repeat lies that there is no airport there, it will never open, and we don't need it. These people certainly deserve help, reconcilliation and recovery. Turn on the lights, Vernon. Help is on the way.
Nice try, 312. We all know it landed in L.A. Nothing is landing at El Toro anymore except some birds.
While you're in L.A. to see your super jumbo, make sure to say hi to your buddy, Antonio.
Chris Cox lovers are pretty quiet about him, now that he has been exposed. Read about the pollution he foisted onto Irvine at eltoronow.com. Turn on the lights, Vernon. That super jumbo Quantas jet can land comfortably at El Toro International Airport.
So you're saying that one of the NIMBY Beach elite was proven to be an incompetent buffoon once he was thrust into the real world and expected to actually do something? Go figure.
Anti-El Toro International Airport people find nothing wrong about Chris Cox, except that he has a house in Newport Beach. NIMBYs continue to practice class warfare against Newport Beach, but the elite always come out on top. Turn on the lights, Vernon.
MOMMY! Those anti-airport bullies are practicing class warfare on me again. Help me!!!!! WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
Anti-El Toro International Airport NIMBYs are bitter whiners. They are drenched in dogma that were lies then, lies now, and lies tomorrow. Their biggest lie is attacking the messenger to change the story away from the airport. When the truth is revealed, their lies are exposed. Turn on the lights, Vernon. Chris Cox will blush when he sees this fine airport open. Read all about him on www.eltoronow.com.
eltoronow.com is as big a joke as this site. It's yesterday's news and who really cares about old news? The answer: NOBODY! The bottom line is El Toro is a closed Marine base and will stay that way. El Toro Internationl died and went to hell and isn't coming back. Time to move on, boys.
Yesterday's news comes back to haunt anti-El Toro International Airport NIMBYs. The beauty of this website is that it controls the agenda. This gives exposure to the other side of the El Toro airport argument, and allows refutation of anti-airport lies.
Ok, but who gives refutation of this sites lies (and there are many)? Fortunately some of us are more informed than you would like. Bummer for you. Bummer, too, that the airport issue is DOA! Poor little NIMBY's can't get their airport built, no matter how much they cry foul.
804 and 1156 you keep saying El Toro is DOA. If that is so, WHY are you on here? Your paranoia is on public display.
As I said, I just come on here for my daily laugh at the Newport NIMBY's. Reading you guys bitch and moan is hilarious.
This website has only the truth about El Toro International Airport. No bitching and moaning here. Only the anti-El Toro International Airport people do that. Chris Cox is gone and that is good.
Yes, he'll move back into his big house in NIMBY Beach and get a high paying job at the Irvine company. How typical! Remember, greed is good!
First of all, his house is not big. It's just a little tract home. Remember greed is good and elite is elegant.
A little tract home? Big Canyon was tract homes. So was East Bluff, Irvine Terrace, Cameo Shores and Highlands. Spy Glass, Harbor View Hills, Harbor View Homes, and on and on. Nice little tract homes those all are.
1045 But these are tract homes in the prestigious Newport Beach. That is why South County NIMBYs are so jealous. They support Obama and want to him to share the wealth.
I might have suspected it all along. Those anti-El Toro International Airport NIMBYs are Democrats in RINO clothing. Too bad their homes are not elite too. Support your airport, NIMBYs.
347, you dope, I'm no RINO, I'm more conservative than you are. My home's more elite that you're will ever be and I do support my airport. I love JWA/SNA. You should, too.
221, John Wayne Airport is bursting at the seams. It's good you're conservative with an elite home. A pox on Chris Cox for duplicity. Turn on the lights at El Toro, Vernon. The elite and rif raff need an airport from which to fly.
